Go figure…

I just was reading some random blogs of folks training for triathlons.  Reading confirmed that I am truly lazy and eat too much!  Yet I am compelled to continue and to try a wee bit harder.  Tonight I went to a track workout with the Breakaway Training group.  Everyone is so nice and encouraging as they run circles around me.  Of course I feel good for working out (I am too old to be discouraged by everyone lapping-me at least three times over the four mile workout)  I was also extremely hungry afterwards. 

So, I eat and eat and finally decide to put down the fork and blog a bit.  Tomorrow is a swim workout day.  I hope I am less fatigued than today and can find the motivation to actually workout.  I woke up yesterday with a sore throat and earache and just couldn’t seem to get warm or energizied yesterday or today.  According to the blogs I read, the key to success is actually doing workouts.  The bloggers seem to enjoy them.  I am not yet exhilerated by workouts.  I like the feeling of having completed a workout but I just get tired too quickly and want it to end.  Maybe that will change when my workouts become more regular.  I wrote ‘when’ and not ‘if’…we’ll see…
